Mart Vinson Carter

Marty currently serves as the COO for DBU Global, co-owner of DBU Athletics, and co-founder of Men of Promise/Women of Promise. He is also a consultant in the pharmaceutical industry where he worked for 30+ years in a variety of management positions. He served in the field of education for four years as a teacher in Louisville, KY high schools and as a professor at a college.

Marty has worked with students for more than 30 years. His basketball coaching experience exceeds 25 years at various levels, including college, and he has directed numerous domestic and international basketball clinics. Marty earned his Bachelor’s degree from Georgetown College and his Master’s in Teaching from University of Louisville. His passion is to make a difference in the lives of others by helping them realize their significance and potential.
